Below are a few contact sheets of my new form being manipulated though my processing application, some of the images maybe duplicates, as I had coded my application to save per-frame when edited. I shall change this in the future for when working out my final 25 images.

DSDN142 - Adaptable Form - New Form.
I ended up changing my "Form" for this project, as I soon discovered, I'm not the greatest with right angled triangles and trigonometry and that a simpler shape was easier to manipulate with less variables rather than many.
DSDN112 - Interactive Objects - Prototype_01
The idea was basically, to gather interesting textures and place them on a rubix cube, disable the users eyesight. Therefor the puzzle would have to be solved by using the sense of touch against other textures and sensations felt though the fingertips / hands.
However, I disagreed with this idea after taking another look into it, essentially it's still a Rubix cube and its form cannot be redefined or perfected anymore than already is. Therefor, a slightly unoriginal idea and I will have to look into more ideas and/or approaches for this project.
Textures that were planned to be used for this were as followed.
- Different grades of sandpaper.
- Fur.
- Rubber.
- Bubble wrap.
- Leather.
Will look into textures properties more when looking into approaching another prototype.
DSDN112 - Interactive Objects - Grid
Interaction chart / grid of objects that had been bought into studio sessions. Was used to help break down certain objects into defined categories. Kinetic, Enabler, Utility, etc.
DSDN112 - Interactive Objects - Senses
Just three basic ideas, mostly based off theory. Need to select one or two to try prototype and develop off. Mainly focusing around both touch+sound sense.
- Textural Rubix Cub:
- The idea of a rubix cube solves using a different sense other than eyesight, removing eyesight completely and having to solve by texture and touch, possibly sound?'
- Internal Liquid Tube/Guitar thing:
- Different materials, nylon, wool, cotton, metal, etc stringed though the inside of a PVC pipe with different slots to cut of a liquid that fills a quarter of the pipe, this creating different chambers with different volumes that would be editable. The idea was sound density would change when strings pulled though different volumes of mass.
